Portia Club Rental Fees


The capacity of the Portia Club is one of the following:
90 Guests Seated at Tables; 155 Guests Seated in Chairs; or, 210 Guests Standing.



The Portia Club offers Two Standard Rental Periods:

     $75.00 An event four hours or less with 2 extra hours for set-up and clean-up.


     $150.00 An all day event from 10 a.m. until 1 a. m.
          Additional time may be given the day following the event until 9 a.m. to allow for
          clean-up.


     Rehearsals Wedding rehearsals or other pre-event activities may be scheduled
           for an additional fee.



Additional Fees:
$100 Alcohol Surcharge Deposit Charged for Any Event Where Alcohol May Be Consumed

The alcohol surcharge security deposit will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the facility following your event. If additional charges are incurred at that time, they will be deducted from the alcohol surcharge deposit. Additional rules for consumption of alcohol on the premises will apply, including written permission from the Friends of the Portia Club, Inc. The event must also be catered by a holder of an Idaho State Liquor License and all other conditions will apply according to the Rental Contract and All Idaho State Laws regarding alcohol consumption will be followed.


$100 Security Deposit Refundable Security Deposit Required for All Events

The security deposit will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the facility following your event. If additional charges are incurred at that time, they will be deducted from the security deposit. The renter shall be responsible for any and all costs to repair damage to the clubhouse, equipment, or grounds, and any excessive clean-up required, including, but not limited to the security deposit.


Exceptions to Rental Fees:

At the discretion of the Friends of the Portia Club, Inc., some exceptions to rental fees may be allowed:

     1) Payette County Girl Scouts may hold their meeting and
           receptions at no cost.
     2) Non-profit groups and community service organizations may hold
           their meetings once a month at the Portia Club for a donation in the
           an amount they deem reasonable.
     3) Payette County after school and children's programs that do not
           include a fee will have the Portia Club available to them for a
           donation in an amount the deem reasonable.
     4) Preference will be given to residents of Payette County,
           non-profit groups, after school and children's programs and
           individuals and groups who would be unable to rent
           another space due to economic restrictions.
     5) Groups with political affiliations or supporting a
           particular political party, must pay full rental fees
           in accordance with State and Federal Law.
     6) All groups must sign an insurance waiver and have a signed contract
           on file before any meetings or events at the Portia Club.



Payment in full is due 14 days prior to the event. Cancellation of this contract within 24 hours of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Additional rental charges will be assessed at $25 per hour or portion thereof.
